The National Wool museum at Dre-Fach Felindre is housed in the old Cambrian Mills, once the centre of a thriving Welsh woollen industry.

The museum tells the story of an industry that produced shirts and shawls, blankets and bedcovers and woollen stockings that were sold in local markets and which were exported all over the world.

At the musuem you can see working textile machinery, discover hwat it was like to work at the Cambrian Mills and explore the Textile Gallery - with a stunning wall of blankets and unusual nineteenth century knitted socks.
